2 weeks in Beautiful Corfu

The weather was really hot n sunny with no rain at all - so most of the time was spent relaxing and topping up the tan.

We hired a car for 5 days and toured the island - although it is quite small we did many miles and saw some really beautiful places. Beware of the mosquitos in September as we were bitten many times.
We stopped off to admire the view and have coffee and baclava in this posh cafe- but the view was something else
The view of Paleokastritsa from Lakones Bella Vista was absolutely perfect
Posing after lunch in beautiful Paleokstritsa

Taking in the sun
Another lunch by the beach in Agios Stefanos

Suri takes a paddle in Dassia just North of Corfu Town

Pointing - not sure at what but I am sure it was worth pointing out

Another view from Bella Vista
Suri seated on the tub at Achillion- with Achilles in the background watching over us

At Achillion again the view was marvelous though a little misty on this day

Check out the blue sandals

A bit of toe rubbing - not the only person to do it either

Posing in Messonghi
The long walk down from the Lighthouse above the Old Fort in Corfu town

The view from the top of the Old Fort in Corfu town was worth the trek to the top

Within the Old fort outside the St Georges Church - a rather unusual design

Taking in the view with the Old Castle in Corfu town in the background

View from our room at the Harris Apartments
In the Olive Groves - here the Olives had already been harvested

Our local beach just 3 minutes from our apartment in St George South

Corfu town outside the Palace of St. Michael and St. George

Outside the bell-tower of the Church of Agios (Saint) Spyridons which has  a unique red dome and clock, Corfu Town - inside there was an amazing ceiling and lots of silver
Walking on the boardwalk in Agios Gordis
